A bespoke, yet affordable, solution to meet customer requirements

Five years previous, the customer had installed a software programme to record downtimes and the cause of faults. Its application was complicated. For this reason, the project team decided to make use of a user-friendly software application that had to provide the following features:

  • Quick overview of system availability
  • Organisation of downtimes into categories (short, long, etc.)
  • No initial individual evaluation of faults for each system component
  • Extensible system platform
  • Information to be presented via web interface
  • Timed reports via email

Stadler + Schaaf was able to implement a software solution for the customer that is user-friendly, supplier-independent, affordable and can be extended by other integrators in the future.

Furthermore, the use of Historian provides long-term data storage, ensuring full traceability.
