Personal stories

From our employees themselves

Jens Dietrich
Head of Occupational Safety
The risk of accidents in the workplace is often very high, especially in the field of electrical engineering and working with electricity.

Together with my team, I take care of developing safety measures at Stadler + Schaaf to avoid such dangers. Our primary goal is to ensure that everyone gets to work and back home in good health!

We pass on these safety measures to our employees through training courses and instruct them in various areas of occupational safety. In this way, everyone can act quickly, safely and according to regulations in the event of a dangerous situations.

What I appreciate most about Stadler + Schaaf is the loyal and down-to-earth team spirit.

Key Account Manager
I work for Stadler + Schaaf at the Iphofen branch in Lower Franconia. My role as a Key Account Manager is to foster contacts with existing customers, and also to keep acquiring new customers.
For me personally, the most exciting aspect is to provide links between non-binding customer inquiries and the existing expertise and capacities within our company, and to be able to pursue these until orders are successfully completed.
Mitarbeterbild - Sonja Hanß
Sonja Hanß
Head of Training Engineering
My start into career life was a bit bumpy. On the one hand, I was too young for my chosen profession and on the other, as a young woman, I was not trusted as being able complete a technical training. Fortunately, I learned about a dual training in IT and became an assistant for technical computer science specialising in automation technology.
Subsequently, I completed a degree in this area so that I now supervise students at Stadler + Schaaf.
I am happy that my job allows me to combine my career with my role as a mother of two in the best way possible.

Branch Manager Leuna
After graduating in automation engineering at the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, I applied and was hired immediately. I first encountered Stadler + Schaaf at a company contact fair in Merseburg.
After about a year as a project engineer, I assumed provisional tasks of branch management and since April 2014 I have been officially managing in this position.
I like the variety in my job, and that I always learn something new. Facing challenges, keeping up with the times, and still not losing sight of experiences from my earlier days are what I find most interesting.
Stadler + Schaaf is an innovative and loyal employer that provides a very pleasant familial atmosphere!

EI&C Planner, Head of Documentation
I have been working at Stadler + Schaaf in Emstek since 2004 and am responsible for the planning of the EMSR documentation for the reconstruction and renovation of gas drying plants.
We work in close cooperation with our customers and produce all the documentation for the maintenance activities.
My career life is very varied and always presents me with new challenges. Working in a team, we always find the best solutions and use the synergies that arise from the different departments.
Naomi Steinmaier
Project Engineer Automotive
Since the beginning of 2018, I have been working as a project software engineer in the automotive team.
I followed a classical student route at Stadler + Schaaf and wrote my bachelor’s thesis in Offenbach. After my graduation, I received a job offer, which of course I did not refuse.
I have absolutely no regrets about my decision thus far. My daily routine is extremely varied and always presents me with new challenges. Boredom is a completely foreign concept to me!
Nevertheless, my team makes it easy for me to get involved in new projects and has fully integrated me from the very beginning.
