With an investment of 162 million EUR, GSK is expanding its range of vaccines produced at its location in Marburg with the construction of a new plant for an additional component of the meningococcal B vaccine.
Together with Siemens AG, Stadler + Schaaf was tasked with implementing the control system for ventilation and media distribution via a virtualised PCS7 System V9. S + S is responsible for the planning and construction of the required controller cabinets, RIOs and power cabinets. After Stadler + Schaaf prepared the functional description, implementation is to be carried out together with Siemens AG. Stadler + Schaaf will accompany the works through to qualification.
